GREENHOUSE PLASTICS
Various Mulch Films

1103 BLACK FILM FOR SOIL COVER ONLY
Mainly used as soil cover.
ADVANTAGES:
Preservation of soil humidity (saves water).
The film lowers the soil temperature (at root level) during the summer.
The film does not transmit light, thus preventing the sprouting of weeds.

  1115 BLACK/WHITE CO/EX FILM FOR SOIL COVER
MAINLY USED AS SOIL COVER IN WARM REGIONS.
The black side is turned towards the soil, while the whit is turned up.
ADVANTAGES:
Preservation of soil humidity (saves water).
The film lowers the soil temperature (at root level) and is suitable for warm regions.
The black side is turned towards the soil, which prevents the sprouting of weeds.
The white side is turned up, reflecting light up to the plants, which enhances the amount of light, increases photosynthesis and lowers the soil temperature.

1109 YELLOW FILM FOR SOIL COVER
MAINLY USED TO COVER THE SOIL.
ADVANTAGES:
Preservation of soil humidity (saves water).
The yellow colour attracts the whitefly, which reduces damage to the crops by the whitefly virus.
The film warms the soil at the root level.

1107 OPAQUE BROWN FILM FOR SOIL COVER
MAINLY USED TO COVER THE SOIL.
ADVANTAGES:
Preservation of soil humidity (saves water).
Prevents sprouting of weeds.
This is a thermic film, which blocks reflection of radiation from the soil at night, thus raising the soil temperature. Suitable for cold regions.

1108 SELECTIVE GREEN FILM FOR SOIL COVER
MAINLY USED TO COVER THE SOIL.
ADVANTAGES:
Preservation of soil humidity (saves water).
The green colour transmits light selectively, thus preventing the sprouting of weeds under the film.
The film transmits heat and raises the soil temperature (at the root level).
Use of this film will enable an early crop for strawberries, melons and watermelons and similar produce, allowing a higher market price.

  1112 BLACK/SILVER CO/EX FILM FOR SOIL COVER
MAINLY USED TO COVER SOIL IN WARM REGIONS.
The black side is turned towards the soil and the silver side is turned up.
ADVANTAGES:
Preservation of soil humidity (saves water). The film lowers the soil temperature (at root level) and is very suitable for warm regions.
The black side that is turned towards the soil prevents the sprouting of weeds. The silver side reflects a great amount of light, lowers soil temperature, gives additional light to the underside of the plant and the high reflection of the silver prevents contamination of the whitefly virus.

  1113 BROWN/YELLOW CO/EX FILM FOR SOIL COVER
MAINLY USED TO COVER THE SOIL.
ADVANTAGES:
Preservation of soil humidity (saves water).
Prevents sprouting of weeds.
This is a thermic film, which blocks reflection of radiation from the soil at night, thus raising the soil temperature.
Suitable for cold regions.
The brown side is turned towards the soil and the yellow side is turned up. This raises the soil temperature (at the root level) and reduces damage done by the whitefly virus.

1104 POLY-THIN FILM: SUPER-THIN STRENGTHENED UVA FILM FOR SOIL COVER
ADVANTAGES:
Preservation of soil humidity (saves water).
Raises the soil temperature (at the root level).
Very cost-effective regarding work per square meter.
Can also be used with methyl bromide.
Upon special order, these films can be protected for use with sulfur.
